Police Dispatch and Response
Emergency response and dispatch protocol is defined by each client’s custom instructions. Our operators are trained to follow the procedures set out in each customer’s file. In the event no responsible person from an emergency contact list is available, the operator will proceed to dispatch emergency services based on the type of signal received. Every effort is made to minimize costly false dispatches.
One way to eliminate false alarm dispatch fees is to list local security as a primary contact. We also recommend using an armed guard response service where possible to ensure the safety and security of staff who might be tempted to proceed to the site to investigate a call on their own.
Each Police department charges different fees for valid and invalid dispatch services. Police officers will be dispatched in each municipality based on the rules and bylaws of each area.

Video Verification
Video verification reduces false alarms and prioritizes alarm responses from EMS services.

Typically, when police respond to an alarm call, they treat the alarm as a low-priority item, expecting that it will be a false alarm and usually taking a long time to appear on the scene. With video verification, our monitoring station logs into your video surveillance system by remote access to view and verify an alarm signal. If the operator deems the alarm to be valid by video verification, the alarm is treated as a crime in progress. This rapidly escalates police response and eliminates the false alarm designation and associated fees.
