Alarm

My alarm keypad is beeping and the yellow triangle is lit up. How do I stop the beeping?

A. Press the # key to silence the beeps. Press *2 to view the trouble condition. Report the number that shows up on the screen. If the number is 1, press 1 again and report the number.

The yellow triangle is lit up after we had a phone outage.

A.  Arm the office, wait 5 minutes, then disarm it. 
At that point, please check to see if the yellow triangle is lit up and let us know when you’ve completed the arm/disarm so we can check the server for signals. 

I need to change the time/date on my alarm keypad.

A. Press *6 and the Master Code. Press 1 to select Time and Date. Enter the time in 24-hr format (HH:MM), then the date (MM:DD:YY). Press # to exit programming.

How do I bypass a zone on the alarm keypad?

A. Press *1 then the master code (if required). Enter the two-digit zone to be bypassed. The zone light will turn on to indicate that the zone is bypassed.

The keypad beeps when the door opens and closes.

A. Turn the door chime function on/off, by pressing the Chime key for 2 seconds. Also *4 performs the same function.

We have a scheduled power outage in the building tonight – do I need to do anything to the alarm system?

A. Please set the alarm as usual.  We will notify our monitoring centre of the scheduled power outage. Upon opening on the next day, please make sure you reset the date and time on the alarm keypad.

How do I add/delete/modify alarm users and their passcodes?
